Leading Door Supplier Using Chameleon Power Virtual Reality to Sell Doors

Novi, MI (August 16, 2018) Masonite, the world’s largest manufacturer of residential doors, has partnered with Chameleon Power, the leading provider of photographic visualization technologies, to create a visualization tool to help customers with door selections. The visualization tools were on display at the recent International Builders Show in Orlando.

Chameleon Power created a combination VR and mobile app to allow users to define style and preferences using the iPad, and then view and select doors within the 3D/VR app. Users can choose from the full selection of Masonite doors, select different types, styles, colors and sizes, to help find a door that perfectly suits their needs.

Masonite uses a lifestyle and interest quiz to profile customers, then offers a targeted selection of products that matches the customer’s profile. The Chameleon VR and iPad app tools allow the customer to view their choices within photo-realistic outcomes.

The tools can be deployed on mobile devices, VR-enabled computers and on large screen, web-based kiosks in sales centers and online.
